The transition from studies to work can be both exciting and demanding. What does the labour market really look like? What is expected of you as a job seeker? And how can you use NITO as support along the way? In this course, you will get a practical and useful introduction to job search and working life – adapted to students' needs.
In the course, we go through, among other things:
- The job market for engineers and technologists
- How to Build a Clear and Relevant Resume
- Tips for good applications that stand out
- How you can use AI in the job search process
- Various questions that many people have about working life, such as salary and how to negotiate, what is a company group and how to get in touch with your union representative, and what can NITO help you with even after your studies.
At the end, you will be able to work on your CV and application, and get help along the way.
Practical information:
- The course instructors talk for about 60 minutes before you have time to work on your CV and application.
- Bring your computer, and preferably have started or previous CVs and applications ready
- The course is adapted to students who want to be stronger in the competition for jobs
- There will be an opportunity to ask questions during and after the course
- Pizza and soft drinks will be served, so remember to report allergies or special needs when registering.
