- We set up our own MFA
- We connect to Azure lab environment
10-10:45 - Create new user in Azure Entra
- Learning about Azure Entra
- We test the creation of a new user
11-12:00 - Azure portal
- Learning how to navigate the Azure portal
- We learn what the most important features are and where to find them
- We test access control and assign roles
12-13:00 – Lunch
13-13:45 - Azure Security Center
- We'll learn about Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- We navigate the security overview
- We recognize serious discrepancies vs. trivial messages
14-14:45 - Azure Price Calculator
- We learn about cost estimation
- We learn about different cost levels
- We use Azure Price Calculator to estimate monthly costs
3-3:45 p.m. – Azure role-based access control (RBAC)
- We learn the key aspects of Azure role-based access control
- We learn why a proven relationship with role assignment is important
- We test Azure RBAC ourselves
