Oslo is the capital of Norway, and the social programme of the congress will give participants the opportunity to explore the city. The Congress venue is located in the heart of Oslo, next to Oslo Central Station.
Oslo Municipality invites all participants to a pleasant reception in Oslo City Hall. Oslo City Hall is located at City Hall Square in the heart of Pipervika. The town hall houses premises for the municipality's political and administrative management and representation premises for larger events. The building was opened in 1950 and was designed by the architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded in Oslo City Hall since 1990.
The congress will have a consistent focus on sustainability, ethics and research NITO BFI's professional ethics council will visit all sessions in the "ethics quarter" and also invite you to test out the new ethics game that they have developed together with the ethics committee in NITO. A session has been set up on Monday and a session on Tuesday to try out the game. On Tuesday, the Nordic session has a separate program on ethics. NITO BFI research will also be involved in the various subject sessions with information on research and innovation themes.
