Agreement in the negotiations in the VIRKE-HUK area
Virke HUK and NITO have reached an agreement in the interim settlement for employees in private and non-profit enterprises in health, education and culture. See what they agreed on for the various national agreements.
On Tuesday 17 June, the central parties met for negotiations on the interim settlement for the private and non-profit enterprises in Virke, HUK.
The result is that wages were regulated in the same way as the results in the public sector.
The settlement applies to employees in health, education and culture in non-profit and private enterprises affiliated with Virke.
The result includes the following six national agreements to which NITO is a party. Now that the central settlement has been completed, there will be a basis for NITO to initiate local negotiations in the individual enterprise – where this has been agreed. See where this is applicable in the list below.
This was agreed upon in the various national agreements
National Collective Agreement for Health and Social Services, etc.
- For positions that have their salary negotiated locally (applies to employees with a position in Chapter 2, section 2.2.1), the negotiations must be completed by 31 October 2025.
- The effective date for wage changes agreed in local negotiations is 1 May 2025 – unless the parties locally agree on a different date.
National Collective Agreement for Education
No funds have been set aside for local negotiations for positions that are covered by the central salary system.
National agreement for the specialist health service
- Local negotiations shall be carried out for positions that have their salaries negotiated locally, cf. Chapter 3, Section 3.3 by 31 October 2025.
- Effective date for salary changes from 1 May 2025, unless the parties locally agree on a different date.
National Agreement for University Colleges
- 3.3% has been set aside for local negotiations – for those whose wages are negotiated locally.
- The negotiations must be completed by 31 October 2025.
National Collective Agreement for Museums and Other Cultural Institutions
- For those who follow the agreement alternative A, 3.3% has been set aside for local negotiations. These negotiations must be completed by 31 October 2025.
- For enterprises that follow the national agreement alternative B, salaries are agreed locally.
National collective agreement for enterprises
In this national agreement, enterprises negotiate either pursuant to section 26 or section 27:
§ 26 Salary provisions, etc. – Appendix 3
- 3.3% has been set aside for local negotiations – for those whose wages are negotiated locally.
- The negotiations must be completed by 31 October 2025.
§ 27 Salary provisions, etc. – Appendix 4
- Salary changes are being negotiated locally with effect from 1 May 2025, unless the parties locally reach an agreement on another date.
- The negotiations must be completed by 31 October 2025.
- Applies to employees with a position in Appendix 4, Chapter 1 Salary Provisions, Section 1.2.
