Department of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences – an independent academic unit in NITO

The department safeguards the professional and professional interests of the biomedical laboratory scientists, and has 5900 working members and over 2300 student and pensioner members. Health and education policy are key areas of work in NITO BFI's activities. The department owns and publishes the scientific journal Bioingeniøren.
