Use the opportunity the industry programs provide for competence development - completely free of charge

The offers within the industry programs are free of charge – they are short, flexible courses and educations that can be combined with work and family life.

NITO is part of several industry programmes for competence development:

Skills offered in other industries: Industry programme - education for working life

The programs started in 2020. The Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) has announced new grants for competence development programmes.

The offers have been developed as a collaboration between the education provider and the labour market. The courses are free, and the list of offers is updated regularly.

This is a unique opportunity for companies in these industries to ensure competence development of their employees and for NITO's members to update themselves or acquire new expertise.

What competence offers do you and your company use?

If you are a NITO union representative, you should be familiar with the programmes and the opportunities they provide for your business. Engage in dialogue with your employer about how the company can make use of the offers.
