The program is based on international standards such as PRINCE2, PMBOK and ISO 21500, and has been developed in collaboration with experienced project managers from industry and academia. The result is a practical guide you can use throughout the project's life cycle – from pre-project to benefit realisation.

The training is web-based and takes you from basic to advanced project expertise. It concludes with a certification accredited by PMI® (Project Management Institute) and DNV (Det Norske Veritas).

You also get access to templates, checklists, and the AI tool Project Copilot, which helps you use AI in all phases of the project for more efficient planning and execution.

What you'll learn

  • Lead projects in a structured and targeted manner throughout the life cycle – from idea and pre-project to benefit realization
  • Plan projects with clear goals, scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
  • Using international standards and frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2, ISO 21500) for quality and predictability - is therefore ideal for those who have PRINCE2® certification that will teach you how to apply the framework in practice
  • Build and lead effective project teams with clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes
  • Managing change, uncertainty, stakeholders and communication in a professional and controlled manner
  • Apply AI tools such as Project Copilot for smarter planning, documentation and reporting in practice

Once you have completed all the modules and passed the certification test, you will receive an official certificate of certification. The project certificate documents your project management skills and provides a clear competitive advantage in further career development.

About the course

The project certificate consists of five courses, templates and checklists, the AI tool Project Copilot and a certification test.

2. Prosjektplanlegging

A successful project starts with a solid project plan. In the second course of the Project Certificate, you will learn how a thorough planning phase creates a robust and feasible foundation for the project, and why this is crucial for success.

In the course, you will gain the basic skills you need to:

  • Assemble and organize an effective planning team

After this course, you will have knowledge of:

  • Customer and supplier perspective
  • Project phases
  • Decision Points and Decision Makers

If you complete all the lessons in the course modules, you will be well prepared. Upon passing the certification exam, you will receive a project certificate approved by PMI® and certified by DNV, documenting your expertise, understanding of industry best practices and ability to lead successful projects.

The certification you receive will be in Norwegian or English depending on whether you have purchased the Project Certificate in Norwegian or English (The Project Academy).

Tilgang til maler, sjekklister og AI-verktøyet Project Copilot

You get access to templates, examples, tools and checklists in a separate resource module, useful both for you and for companies that want to work according to best practice. In addition, you get access to our AI helper, Project Copilot, with project knowledge.

Project Copilot is an AI-powered language model developed for project management. Copilot acts as a digital sparring partner throughout the entire project process, from planning and organization to reporting and risk management.

You ask the questions, and Copilot helps you create plans, reports, risk assessments and suggestions for measures. The tool is trained on the content of the Project Certificate and provides practical support when you need to use the methods in your own projects.

In this way, you will gain experience of how artificial intelligence can strengthen project management in practice, while maintaining control and making the professional assessments yourself.
