In this digital lunch lecture, two different approaches to tracking and making workflow visible in pathology are presented. The presentations will be held in English.
Dil Rathore, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, presents Find My Sample, a solution designed to make it easier to find and track samples throughout the laboratory process.
Patrick Stünkel, Helse Bergen/HVL, presents the work of using data from the laboratory's work processes to visualize workflows. Among other things, he will show how Live View can provide an ongoing overview of activity, queues and workflows, and how such data can be used in improvement work.
The presentations will have a practical approach and focus on how technology and existing process data can contribute to a better overview, less time spent on exploration and coordination, and a better basis for identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
