The course reviews selected changes and clarifications in NEK 400:2026 that are important for the design and execution of electrical low-voltage systems. The content is aimed at areas where important adjustments have been made or new requirements have been introduced in the standard. The course instructor, Edgar Karlsen, is a member of NEK's technical committee for NEK 400 (NK64), and brings insights from the work on the standard into the course – with a focus on how the changes actually affect in practice.
The implementation is set up as a combination of academic lectures and discussion. Emphasis is placed on practical examples and direct comparison of old and new wording where relevant. Participants are encouraged to bring their own issues from practice.
