Recovery as a competence

In technology professions, we live close to complex problems and a fast pace. At the same time, we are in the middle of a time where our attention is drawn in all directions and we are exposed to constant stimuli. This means that the brain rarely gets to rest. By strengthening the ability to regulate the nervous system, take breaks, gain perspective and seek mastery, we will not only have more energy, but we will also experience more meaning and mastery in everyday life. Conscious rest is not the absence of activity, but a competence that enables us to be present without burning out.
