Conflicts are part of working life. When they are not handled in a good way, they can have consequences both for those involved and for the working environment.
We will look at why conflicts arise, what they can entail, how they can develop and most importantly: how we can prevent and handle them in a constructive way.
We also look at the Working Environment Act's framework for conflict management, including the employer's responsibility for a fully satisfactory working environment and what you can expect as an employee when demanding situations arise in the workplace.
