Paintball and prompting

NITO Østfold invites students and young working members under the age of 36 to a social and inspiring afternoon with both indoor paintball, lectures on artificial intelligence and a final dinner at O'Learys Moss.

AI lecture

Artificial intelligence is already influencing the way we study, work and develop. In the lecture from Raymond Kristiansen, you will get an introduction to how you can keep up with the rapid development, what changes we see in working life, and how you as a student or young employee can stay updated in the years to come.

At the same time, you get to test your competitive instinct on the paintball court. To ensure a good experience for everyone, the participants are divided into two groups. While one group plays paintball, the other participates in the lecture. Then the groups switch activities.

Afterwards, we gather for dinner, good conversations and the opportunity to get to know other young NITO members in the region.

Practical information

  • Remember to state any food allergies or other considerations we should know about
  • Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for activity. All necessary equipment for paintball can be borrowed
  • Choose your preferred burger when registering. All burgers are served with fries and drinks

 

Choose burger when registering:

  • Menu 1: SWICY CRUNCH BURGER: Burger with swicy mayo, hot honey, crushed tajín-spiced nachos, cheddar cheese, crispy lettuce and jalapeños.
  • Menu 2: KOREAN FUSION BURGER: Burger with Korean BBQ glaze, sesame and chili pickled cucumber, jalapeño pickled slaw, coriander and chili mayonnaise. Served with a kick of sesame and chili on the fries.
  • Menu 3: CHEDDAR CHEESE BURGER: Burger with hamburger dressing, double cheddar cheese, crispy lettuce, pickles, and caramelized onions.
  • Menu 4: CRISPY BBQ BURGER (VEGETARIAN): Crispy plant-based burger with Korean BBQ glaze, pico de gallo, mayonnaise, crispy lettuce and cheddar cheese.

Raymond Kristiansen

Raymond is a project manager in NITO's competence center. He is the secretary of NITO's national professional network within AI, and he has given several lectures on AI both in Norway and abroad. Raymond has previous experience from the IT industry as a solution architect. He is interested in the practical use of technology, exploration of the opportunities that a technological solution provides and the value that lies in experience sharing. He aims to explain the basic principles of using different AI solutions in an educational way, and at the same time inspire more advanced ways of thinking along the way.
