What happens when something we hoped would never happen, actually happens? In the Total Preparedness Year 2026, NITO Møre og Romsdal invites you to a day where we lift our eyes from society's threat picture and look at what preparedness means in practice, for the business, the workplace and the individual.
Through short professional presentations, regional examples and panel discussions, you will gain knowledge that you can bring back to work. Among other things, we will touch on business preparedness, digital security, psychosocial working environment, adaptability and personal financial preparedness.
One of the people you will meet is security expert Chris Dale, who shares knowledge about how you and your business can protect yourself from hackers. He has extensive experience with incident management and penetration testing, and assists companies when serious security incidents occur. Here you get an insight into digital threats, what actually happens when someone attacks, and what companies can do to be better equipped.
The program offers more, and new themes and contributors are announced continuously.
The autumn conference is suitable for those who work with technology, management, HR, security or critical services, or who simply want to understand more of what total preparedness means for their own workplace. Take a trip to Ålesund and spend Saturday with other NITO members from Møre og Romsdal. There will be room for both professional discussions, new acquaintances and good food.
A day to become a little wiser, a little better prepared and get to know other NITO members in the region better. Welcome to PIR!
