Agreement in the main settlement for Virke HUK
NITO and the other Akademiker unions have reached agreement in six out of seven national agreements in Virke HUK. Local negotiations are now awaiting in the individual business.
The central negotiations were held on 15-17 June. Agreement has been reached in the following national agreements: University colleges, museums, enterprises, education, health and social services, as well as kindergartens.
Concrete results from the settlement
The parties have agreed on several key changes to the collective agreements. For NITO's members and union representatives, this means, among other things:
- Increased rates for inconvenient working hours: Applies to work in the evenings and weekends, as well as on-call shifts.
- More for union representative training: Increase in the subsidy for OU funds, which strengthens the training of union representatives.
- Pensions: The collective agreements are now open for free investment choice in the hybrid occupational pension scheme.
Local negotiations by 31 October
Local negotiations will now be carried out for NITO's members. These negotiations take place in the individual enterprise, and the deadline for implementation is set at 31 October 2026.

The last agreement, the national agreement for the specialist health service, remains. This will be negotiated in week 37.
