Welcome to the board meeting for NITO South, where the goal is to get to know each other, strengthen cooperation in the region, create a common understanding of important priorities and lay a solid foundation for the work towards the congress in 2027.
Friday 28 August
Friday starts with board meetings in the individual departments, before we gather for joint lunch and plenary. In plenary, we will have a special focus on getting to know each other better – both personally and across departments.
Each department gives a short presentation and shares relevant experiences that can be useful in the work of the other boards.
The day ends with team building and shrimp evening at Engøy guesthouse in the archipelago. We have the farm all to ourselves, and we are aiming for a pleasant and memorable evening with NITO South.
Saturday 29 August
Saturday is set aside for targeted work towards the congress in 2027. Here we take a closer look at what is important to NITO South, how we want to influence, and how we can work more strategically with issues and offices. There will also be room to address ethical dilemmas, understanding of roles and how union representatives in NITO South can stand clearly and united in important political processes.
