Shaking hands, thanking each other

How do we succeed with local negotiations in practice – both in meetings with the employer and our own members? At the regional collective bargaining conference for municipalities in the south of the Agder, Telemark, Vestfold and Buskerud departments, we gather union representatives for professional replenishment, exchange of experience and joint discussions on wages, negotiations and interaction in the new tariff structure.

Regional Collective Bargaining Conference Municipality, South

The regional collective bargaining conference is an important meeting place for bargaining leaders and union representatives in the municipal agreement area in the South. Here we facilitate dialogue, sharing of experiences and practical work on topics that are central to the collective bargaining work in connection with the local negotiations.

The conference will start with a presentation of the Regional Tariff Committees in NITO South. Based on a survey that the business groups have responded to in the spring of 2026, there will be an introduction to the expectations and working methods of the Regional Tariff Committees (RTU). There will also be a review of the Toolbox for union representatives, which is a good tool in connection with the negotiations.

Here is a link to the Regional Tariff Committee municipality in NITO South with name and contact information.

The goal of this regional digital collective bargaining conference, which takes place on Teams, is for you to be left with increased security in your role as a union representative, become familiar with NITO's tools in the negotiation work and a strengthened regional network.

This is the conference for you who want to be better prepared, less alone and more confident in your role as a union representative. The conference is relevant for business group and negotiation leaders in the municipal sector in NITO South municipalities.

At the bottom of the page, the preliminary program for the conference is followed. Subject to possible changes.
