In collaboration with RIF, NITO, Quality Norway and NBEF, we invite you to the coordinator school.
The course provides a comprehensive understanding of what is necessary competence to fulfil the coordinator role in a good and appropriate manner in accordance with the Construction Client Regulations.
What you will learn on the course
- Gain a clear understanding of the different roles and concepts in the Construction Client Regulations and associated legislation and contractual conditions
- Gain insight into how occupational health and safety regulations and SHA/HSE requirements affect the planning and implementation of building and construction projects
- Understand what coordination entails – both in theory and practice – and how the coordinator role should be exercised in different phases of the project
- Get an overview of the coordinator's specific tasks, and how these can be carried out, documented and followed up in an efficient and structured way
- Develop an understanding of risk and learn to identify, assess and manage risks related to safety, health and the working environment
- Participate in inspections (for physical courses) to link theory to practice in a real project environment
- Build a valuable network and social relationships across businesses and professional environments
The Coordinator School helps to create a common understanding of what is meant by the concept of "necessary knowledge and experience" in order to be able to fulfil the coordinator role in a safe and appropriate manner. At the same time, the school must contribute to meeting the industry's need for qualified coordinators.
