On this two-day physical course, you will get practical experience with AI tools. We work with cases from your business and build agents, so you learn how to use AI to reason, analyze and make better decisions.

What you'll learn

  • Master your chatbot, whether it's ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Gemini
  • Build AI agents who can analyze, reason, and develop strategies
  • Solve specific cases from your own business
  • Use AI for research and analysis of relevant working documents – such as technical reports, project documentation, datasets, research articles and the like
  • Get to know common pitfalls, challenges and risks
  • Streamline workflows with AI, freeing up up to two working days per week

The course combines lectures and workshops with exciting demonstrations, practical exercises, discussions and cases over two days. The focus is on the participants' own businesses and cases, with the goal of using AI tools to develop tailor-made solutions. The program engages and involves the participants actively from the start.

Program content 26 and 27 May:

Day 1: Master the AI tools and avoid the pitfalls

09-12: The future of work and an overview of AI

  • What will working life look like in 2-5 years, and what skills do you need?

  • Comparison of the most popular AI tools: pros, cons and what is best for your job

  • Discussion and mapping of areas of use and needs

  • Pitfalls: reflection and joint discussion of challenges and solutions

12-13: Lunch

13-16: Building of AI agents and Notebook analysis

  • Create AI agents for fact-checking, analysis, strategy, research, and argumentation

  • Adapt agents to their own needs and tasks

  • Use Notebook in Copilot and Gemini to analyze and process reports, studies, technical documentation and other relevant working documents

  • Combine AI tools for comprehensive research and report writing

  • Group work, discussions and exercises with practical adaptation to own cases along the way

Day 2: Cases from your business

09-12: Reflection and prompt engineering

  • Summary of learning points, challenges and solutions from day 1

  • Practice writing effective instructions for the AI tools ("prompt engineering")

  • Collect and share the best scripts in a script database

12-13: Lunch

13-15: Case work and implementation

  • Work with cases from the participants' own workday.

  • Identify areas where AI can save time and support decisions.

  • Collaborate with the course leader to develop solutions.

15-16: Summary and conclusion

  • Presentation of cases and solutions created in the workshop

  • Summary and reflection on tools, agents and methods

* The times in the program both days are indicative. The course instructor adapts the content along the way to ensure the best possible learning outcome for the participants.

Preparation for the course

The course is based on practical exercises and examples that can be adapted to the participants' own work tasks. Participants are encouraged to reflect on their own cases and issues in advance to get the most out of the workshop. You will be sent information about what type of cases you can bring.

Practical information

  • Course time: The course is a physical two-day course that takes place on May 26 and 27 at 09-16 both days in central Oslo. Information with an address will be sent out in advance of the course.
  • Requirements for AI tools: To get the full benefit of the course, you should have a subscription to one of the following AI tools: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini. We also use NotebookLM, which you can access as long as you have a free Google/Gmail account. 
  • Preparation for and bringing to the course days: Own PC with access to one or more of the above-mentioned AI tools. We also recommend that you think of one or more cases from your own working day that you can work with during the course to get the maximum benefit.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel one of our professional courses or conferences after the registration deadline, a fee of 20 percent of the course or conference price will be charged. Adam Tzur

Course instructor Adam Tzur is the founder and editor of AIavisen, Norway's first newspaper dedicated to artificial intelligence. He has previously been head of communications at SINTEF Manufacturing, but recently left to focus fully on AIavisen. With a master's degree in communication from the University of Agder and a seat on the advisory board of the Communication Association, he combines professional weight with practical experience. His goal is to build knowledge and expertise about AI among Norwegians, and provide course participants with insights and methods that make it easier to use AI in practice.
