Lunch lecture from NITO BFI Microbiology on Hantavirus

In this lecture, you will get an introduction to Hantavirus and insight into the current outbreak of infection related to the Dutch cruise ship in early May.
How and why did it happen? Can this happen to other viruses? Is there a risk of a pandemic when this happens? How can we protect ourselves as a private individual and when we work with viruses in the laboratories?

Practical information

The lunch lecture will be held on Teams. You will receive a link by e-mail in advance of the lecture. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in the meeting chat. The lecture will be recorded and sent out to registered participants afterwards.
