Lunch lecture from NITO BFI Pathology - Make wise choices in macropruning

In this lunch lecture, Hilde Midtbø-Hjelvik will share experiences and reflections on how bioengineers can contribute to wise choices in macro pruning. Among other things, she will talk about assessments made before and during macro pruning, the importance of standardized routines, good information flow and correct use of expertise.

The lecture will also shed light on how macro-cropping affects the next steps in the diagnostic process, from presentation and sectioning to microscopic assessment and any further additional diagnostics. The goal is to give the participants professional replenishment and a starting point for reflection on their own practice: What should we do the same? Where can we simplify? And how can we ensure good quality without unnecessary use of resources?

After the lecture, participants are invited to questions, discussion and exchange of experiences.

Practical information

The lunch lecture will be held on Teams. You will receive a link to the meeting by e-mail, in advance of the lecture. Recordings will be made that will be sent out to registered participants afterwards.
