Kimberley Acevedo has gone from vocational education in Hammerfest to a central role in the technology environment at Hammerfest LNG. Today, she works as a control room and simulator engineer in Equinor, while also furthering her education in cognitive psychology and technology.
During the lecture, Kimberley will share her personal journey, experiences from working life and reflections on her choice of education and career. She is particularly passionate about highlighting the opportunities that exist in the north and inspiring young people to explore technology, energy and industry as a career path.
This is a unique opportunity to hear how targeted effort, curiosity and the willingness to try something new can open doors to exciting opportunities in working life.
In addition, NITO Finnmark will say a little about what they are doing and various membership benefits in NITO.
After professional input, there will be pizza, drinks and mingling.
