Study techniques in mathematics and physics

From frustration to understanding

Many students find mathematics, physics, and other "arithmetic subjects" to be the most challenging parts of their studies. This course is designed to change that. We offer specific techniques and methods that make it easier for you to achieve mastery both throughout the semester and on exams. In the course, you will learn:

  • How to plan the work in a way that allows you to get through all topics, and repeat all topics several times throughout the semester.
  • How to ask good questions to teachers/student assistants.
  • How to make mistakes and learn from them.
  • How to understand formulas so that you can use them correctly.
  • How to check answers on exams and in general.

Techniques that give results

In our course, you will gain access to a variety of strategies that can transform your approach to mathematics and physics. By learning how to turn mistakes into learning opportunities, you'll build confidence and understanding that will help you use and interpret formulas correctly. This course not only provides you with knowledge, but also the tools to check and confirm your answers, both in exam situations and further in your academic journey.

Effective learning with compendium

To ensure you get the most out of the course, you'll receive a compendium of notes afterward. This means that you can focus on listening and thinking during the course, rather than writing. The compendium gives you everything you need to repeat and immerse yourself in the material at home.
