Odin Johannessen, Director General of the Norwegian Business and Industry Security Council, provides an overall picture of threat actors, risks and security challenges that directly affect Norwegian businesses.
There will also be presentations by Kristian Enger, Regional Director of NHO Viken Oslo, about the role of the business community in total preparedness and the findings from NHO's member survey.
A survey shows that only 1 in 3 companies in Oslo, Akershus, Østfold and Buskerud feel that they are part of the total emergency preparedness in Norway. At the same time, 6 out of 10 answer that they want to contribute more to strengthening the national preparedness capacity. The companies are calling for better cooperation with the authorities and clearer information and guidance.
