Furuholmen
For centuries, timber has been moved over great distances with the help of rivers – also here in Norway and along the Glomma. In 1905, Furuholmen was given the designation "Nasjonallense", which testifies to the importance of the place in Norwegian history.
We start with a brief briefing about the place and the day's program. Then you are invited to lunch, where the season's soup with focaccia is served on the side. After lunch, we get an exciting lecture about Furuholmen's history and development, which gives an insight into the place's distinctive character and significance. We round off the lecture with coffee and cake. Finally, there will be time on your own to explore everything Furuholmen has to offer.
A companion is welcome and you will be invoiced afterwards.
