Join NITO on a kayak course with Learn2 at Sollerudstranda. Learn safe and efficient paddling, get a våttkort – your "driver's license" at sea – and experience the Oslo fjord from your kayak.
The course is suitable for those who are beginners or have little experience, and who want to feel safer on the water.
The course combines basic technique, safety and practical training on the water. The instructors from Learn2 are experienced and ensure good follow-up throughout the course. When you have completed, you will receive a wet card Introkurs Hav – a national certificate under the auspices of the Norwegian Paddle Association, which is often required when renting a kayak.
Places are limited to 36 participants in total, spread over two course days. To provide the best possible offer, NITO will make a distribution of participants between the days based on the number of participants. If you only know one day, write it down in the comment field and we will do our best.

- Sollerud beach at Skøyen is the location for the course location
- Meet at the entrance to the garage of the building by the beach, Drammensveien 288
- Dates and number of places: 9 June – 24 places and 10 June – 12 places
- Both days the course time is 17.00-21.00
- Deductible NOK 500,-
- Included: Kayak, oar, vest and necessary safety equipment
Sign up via NITO's website and mark which day you prefer. NITO allocates the final placement on the course day based on the number of participants.
