Listen to a lecture about Gjest Baardsen

Together with Ole Høiland, he is known as one of the country's most talked about criminals. Baardsen was arrested and imprisoned a number of times, but managed to escape time and time again, and finally, at the age of 36, he was sentenced to life imprisonment and spent 18 years in Akershus Fortress – before he was finally pardoned.

The lecture will be held by historian Yngve Nedrebø, who will give us a vivid and insightful encounter with this fascinating part of Norwegian history.
