About speaker Øyvind Aas-Hansen
- PhD in Arctic Biology
- 10 years as a researcher in Fisheries Research / Nofima
- 9 years as a senior adviser in the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) with prevention, preparedness and response to maritime nuclear incidents with reactors in SMR size nationally and internationally
- Chaired the Arctic Council's expert group for preparedness against nuclear incidents from 2019 until he moved back home to Lillesand in 2023
- From 2023: Director of Government and Society, Norsk Kärnkraft AS in Kristiansand.
