In connection with Njord Challenge 2026, NITO invites students to a social run from the HAVET arena in Trondheim. Here it is not about running the fastest, but about being involved. You choose how far you want to run, whether you want a leisurely jog or a longer workout.
All participants will receive a simple meal after the race, and there will be a draw for prizes among those who participate. The event is free, but requires registration.
About Njord Challenge 2026
The Njord Challenge is an international student competition that brings together students from different universities to develop and compete with autonomous vessels. The competition is held in Trondheim and gives participants practical experience with technology, programming, innovation and collaboration across disciplines. From 10-14 August 2026, student teams will meet to test their solutions through various tasks in autonomous navigation and maritime technology.
The race will be a social meeting place during the event – an opportunity to combine activity, networking and the student environment in Trondheim.
