An accident can just as well happen on a mountain hike as on the way to work or school. If you are injured as a result of an accident, accident insurance can provide compensation for the costs of medical treatment and for permanent medical disability.

What does NITO Accident Basic Insurance cover?
- Compensation in the event of permanent medical disability as a result of an accident – up to NOK 1,000,000
- Treatment expenses after an accident injury – up to NOK 50,000
- Unemployment benefits for stays in hospital for more than five days after an accident injury – NOK 400 per day that you dispose of completely freely
The insurance is valid around the clock, both during working hours, study time and in leisure time.
