Reduced membership fees and membership fee exemptions

NITO members who become unemployed or laid off in whole or in part may be granted a reduction or exemption from membership fees. Read on to find out how you can take advantage of this scheme.

When can you get a membership fee exemption?

  • If you are registered as unemployed with NAV
  • If you are fully or partially laid off, and work less than 50 per cent

When can you get a reduced membership fee?

  • If you are partially laid off and working 50 per cent (50 per cent reduction)
  • If you are partially laid off and working 51-75 per cent (25 per cent reduction)


If you work more than 75 percent, you pay the full membership fee.

To be able to use the membership benefit, you must be a member.
