NITO launches two course packages in AI for working life

"The goal is to provide skills you can actually use in your job," says Bjørn Bellaris, head of section at NITO's competence centre. Therefore, NITO now offers members half price on the AI course packages for the rest of the year.

Two course packages – from basic to advanced level

Artificial intelligence is developing rapidly, and many people find it challenging to understand what is actually useful in everyday work. NITO is now launching two course packages that make it easier to get started and take the next step.

"We see a great need for expertise that makes artificial intelligence relevant in practice. These course packages will give participants concrete tools they can use in their own everyday work," Bellaris explains.

The first course package provides a practical introduction to generative AI and how the technology can be used in everyday tasks. The second course package builds on and provides insight into more advanced use, with a focus on automation, AI agents, and tools such as Copilot and Claude.

Flexible setup – choose package or single course and get lifetime access

The course packages are structured as structured learning pathways, but at the same time provide great flexibility. In addition, you get lifelong access to the courses and course certificates upon completion, so you can return to the content when you actually need it in your job – even after you have completed.

The courses are designed to provide competence that is relevant across disciplines and roles. You can buy entire course packages for a comprehensive competence development or choose the individual courses that are most relevant to you. This makes it easy to adapt the learning to your own level, needs and working day.

"Many courses only give access for a limited time. Here you get access forever, so you can learn at your own pace and actually use it over time," Bellaris emphasizes.

AI basics – Practical use in everyday work

The course package consists of the courses Complete guide to Generative AI and AI in everyday work. This is the course package for you who are a beginner in artificial intelligence, want to understand the technology behind it and want to learn how to use the tools in practice.

You'll learn how to use AI tools to write better, analyze information, and solve tasks more efficiently – from emails and meetings to reports and content production.

You will gain a practical understanding of how generative AI works, and how to use tools such as ChatGPT to get better answers, work more structured and save time in your everyday work. This is a good starting point before you possibly move on to AI upper secondary school, where you work more advanced with AI agents, Copilot and Claude.

The course package consists of the courses AI agents in practice, Complete guide to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Complete guide to Claude.

You will learn to build and use AI agents who automate tasks, do research and produce content for you, and to use AI in a more structured way across your work tasks.

You will also gain good expertise and practical experience in using Copilot and Claude, two of the most sought-after AI tools right now, so you can work faster, save time and get more out of AI in your everyday work.

Skills you can put to use right away

Common to both course packages is a clear focus on practical application. Participants learn not only what artificial intelligence is, but how it can be used to work more efficiently, structured and value-creating.

"The most important thing for us is that the participants are left with something they can actually use in their job from day one," says Bellaris.
