How Nordea can support you as a union representative

Get help with member meetings, stands and advice locally.

As a union representative, you play an important role in making NITO's membership benefits known to members. The bank agreement is one of the benefits many people can benefit from, but it can be challenging to keep track of all the conditions, benefits and opportunities and communicate this in a good way.

Nordea can assist union representatives across the country with support for various types of activities.

What Nordea can help with locally

  • Information meetings for members, physical or digital
  • Workplace booth or events
  • Help with recruiting new NITO members
  • One-on-one conversations with members who want personal advice

When you get in touch, you clarify which type of activity is best suited.

Creating value for members

Carl Emil Solvang is Head of Partner at Nordea and is responsible for the bank's strategic collaboration with NITO. He works closely with the organization to ensure good cooperation and a relevant offer for the members.

He encourages union representatives to get in touch if they want to use the bank agreement more actively locally, for example at stands, member meetings or company visits.

"The most important thing is that it is easy for union representatives. They don't need to be in control of everything themselves. We can contribute with both professional content and implementation, whether it is an information meeting, a stand or a more informal speed-date with the members, where they get a short one-to-one chat about finances and mortgages," Solvang explains.

The activities are always adapted to local needs. Some workplaces want a simple member meeting, while others want more individual advice or theme meetings.

"We can also bring in specialists if needed, for example in savings and investments. We also encourage members who do not currently use Nordea to get in touch, so that they can look at their own banking solution," he says.
