Meet NITO at Kongsberg Agenda 2026
This is NITO's second year as a partner at Kongsberg Agenda, Norway's most important technology festival.
From 10 to 13 June, Kongsberg city centre will be filled with hundreds of free events, debates, exhibitions, talks, lectures, stands and activities.

From 2025 to 2027, NITO has entered into an agreement as a partner. Also this year, NITO has a strong presence and a number of events with a wide range of topics in technology.

Wednesday 10 June
Lactate in practice: From burpees to biochemistry (stage: Agenda Ung area)
Practical lab exercise where students measure lactate according to activity and learn what happens in the body. Ends with a short quiz and prizes.

Thursday 11 June
From Lactate to Slipper (Stage: Agenda Ung området)
Two practical lab stations where secondary school students measure lactate and explore microscopy. The pupils will be able to learn more about how the body reacts to physical activity and how we can measure this.

From Copilot to Captain (Scene: Agenda Kompetanse)
ChatGPT and other AI tools are becoming as common as the calculator. They help with structure and ideas, but can also create ready-made tasks. Where is the line between smart help and lost self-learning?

In this workshop, we look at how resilient AI requires the right balance between on-premises and cloud-based AI – a hybrid architecture that can withstand both technical and geopolitical changes.

Mini-lab for the little ones: Lava lamps and microscopy (Scene: Agenda Ung area)
A safe and playful lab experience for kindergarten and primary school. The children make lava lamps and see exciting things under a microscope.

Emergency preparedness and pizza
For NITO members, we have an exclusive event on emergency preparedness and the geopolitical situation.
Robert Mood, with his background from the Norwegian Armed Forces, will give us insight into how the current security policy situation affects Norway and us as a society. Monica K. Mattsson Kämpe, Secretary General of People and Defence, will give a presentation on the civilian part of preparedness.
