Contributes with expertise and commitment
Sunniva Eikevåg (32), at Stavanger University Hospital, is one of a total of 65 biomedical laboratory technicians who contribute with their expertise and their commitment to NITO BFI's various committees.
- As a member of an advisory committee, I have gotten to know many committed and knowledgeable people. We have had many good professional discussions that are important for the field we work in," says Sunniva.
- It is nice to be able to discuss and discuss with others than those we work with, because it gives the discussions more nuances. In this way, we help drive the field forward," she continues.

- I think it is very nice to be part of an advisory committee, and can highly recommend. It may sound a bit scary, but you are well received. I am a member of the advisory committee for pre-analysis and PNA, where we are biomedical laboratory technicians from both the specialist and primary health services, from both the private and public sectors. This makes the dialogue extra exciting, the nuances more important and the learning outcomes greater. We have an enormous amount to learn from each other, because it is together that we are strong. By combining each other's knowledge, we become better. And getting better is the best thing for the patient.
I think it's great to be a member of the NITO BFI pre-analysis and PNA advisory committee. It's insanely exciting and not least rewarding.
