Are you the bioengineer of the future?
Are you interested in how to use modern technology to study all types of biological processes in the body?
Biomedical laboratory technicians are in high demand in today's job market, and the need for their expertise is expected to increase in the years to come. With authorisation as a biomedical laboratory scientist, many career opportunities open up – both in the public and private sectors.
Secure job future as a biomedical laboratory technician
Are you curious about the body, diseases and technology - and like both practical tasks and professional specialization? Then the biomedical laboratory technician education may be just the thing for you.
As a biomedical laboratory science student, you will gain insight into a wide range of natural science subjects such as chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, anatomy, physiology and genetic engineering, in addition to important tools such as statistics and quality assurance.
The education gives you the competence to work with analyses and advanced laboratory equipment. You can become an important part of work processes in health, research and technology.
Among other things, you will:
- Learning about how technology can help us detect disease
- Learn to interpret the results of the patient tests leading to the correct diagnosis
- Be responsible for all types of laboratory analyses
- Take blood samples and guide other healthcare personnel in correct sampling
Hva kreves for å bli bioingeniør?
