NITO manages great assets for its members. An audit committee is an important body for monitoring and checking that the Executive Board and the entire organisation carry out their duties in a good manner.
What does an audit committee do in NITO?
The Audit Committee is a congressional body that oversees that:
- The Executive Board governs NITO in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the organisation
- The Executive Board implements the Congress's strategies, policies and decisions
- The Executive Board manages NITO's total resources responsibly and within the limits set by the congress
The committee meets regularly and reports to the congress.
