International cooperation is important to NITO. In an increasingly international labour market, it is important that employees talk to each other and inspire each other across national borders.
Why is NITO involved internationally?
The Norwegian model has served Norwegian workers well. The international workplace is also in Norway.

International Memberships
Association of Nordic Engineers (ANE)
NITO er en del av Association of Nordic Engineers (ANE). Denne legger tilrette for samarbeid mellom nordiske fagforeninger og representerer mer enn 500.000 ingeniører.
ANE er en arena for å dele kunnskap og generere nye ideer på tvers av landene, noe som gjerne brukes til politisk påvirkning i regionen, på EU-nivå og globalt.
IndustriAll Europa
IndustriAll Europe har omlag syv millioner medlemmer fra 200 fagforeninger i 39 land.
IndustriAll Global Union
IndustriAll Global Union er en fagforeningsføderasjon for industrisektoren som representerer mer enn 50 millioner arbeidstakere i 140 land.
Engineers Europe
Engineers Europe ble etablert i 1951 og består av 33 medlemsland, og representerer 6 millioner ingeniører. Organisasjonen er en profesjonsorganisasjon for ingeniører.
