Nordic guest membership
NITO has guest membership agreements with several Nordic organisations. This means that if you have moved to Norway, or to another Nordic country, your rights can be safeguarded further. So you can be a member here and there.
If you are a member of one of our Nordic co-operation organisations and work temporarily in another Nordic country, you can become a guest member of an organisation in the country in which you work.
- Guest membership provides the same benefits and rights as regular membership, except for voting rights in governing bodies.
- Coverage of expenses in connection with a possible labour court case for a guest member must be agreed separately between the organisations.
- The guest membership is free when the membership fee to the parent organization has been paid.
