Tablet or PC support

Do you simply need IT equipment to do the job as a department representative? Employee representatives on the department boards can apply for reimbursement for necessary IT equipment.

What does NITO cover?

As a union representative on one of NITO's branch boards, it is possible to receive support for simple computer equipment so that you can contribute and communicate easily in the work of the board.

  • NITO reimburses up to NOK 10,000 (in total), after prior approval, for the purchase of equipment for use in the position on the branch board. 
  • The scheme is based on flexible choice of tablet or PC.
  • You must first send an application to the IT department at NITO for approval of the purchase. Once you have received this written approval, you will purchase the equipment yourself, and will be reimbursed (viaUnit4) according to current terms.

Term

  • All the schemes described assume that you as a union representative do not have sufficient coverage of similar schemes from your employer. Those who have this type of equipment covered through their own employer are asked to consider the actual need for the use of NITO's scheme.
  • Those who have previously received computer equipment from NITO, with a three-year commitment, can only apply for a new allowance when the commitment has expired (Purchase of equipment must be pre-approved before a refund is granted).
  • A minimum of three years of service life is required for new equipment.
  • The equipment must be suitable for use in the office, and used in the office.
  • Approval of reimbursement must be carried out within six months of the annual meeting
  • A copy of the purchase receipt and signed agreement must be submitted together with the refund form in Unit4.
  • Members are responsible for maintenance and repairs of their own equipment
  • NITO does not cover loss or theft. This may have to be covered by private insurance.

What do you need to think about before ordering?

In the department board, you must be equipped for both physical and digital meetings.
Skatt

Innkjøp av IT utstyr er i henhold til skattedirektoratet å anse som en privat kostand og NITOs refusjon av dette er derfor skattepliktig.

  • NITO regner utstyret som halvt arbeidsverktøy og halvt privat, og innberetter kun halve beløpet som skattepliktig inntekt
  • Fratres vervet innen ni måneder etter innvilget refusjon, vil hele beløpet bli innberettet som skattepliktig inntekt
Krav til utstyr og programvare
  • Utstyret må kunne brukes til blant annet saksbehandling og videomøter
  • Mobiltelefoner vil ikke bli godkjent
  • Tilleggsutstyr kan godkjennes for inntil kr 5000 av totalbeløpet

  • Trådløs ruter, tastatur, mus, bæreveske/ryggsekk
  • Headsett med mikrofon for videomøte, her dekkes inn til kr 1000. (Dette gjelder da hodesett beregnet for bruk i videomøter, for eksempel: Logitech H540 PC Headset.)
  • Omslag og beskyttelsesfilm for nettbrett
  • MS Office for PC
  • Det dekkes ikke innkjøp av programmer/apps for nettbrett.

Obs! Office kommer i to forskjellige versjoner, en abonnementsløsning; office 365, hvor du får tilgang til blant annet Outlook og Onedrive med 1TB lagring, og en "stand alone" versjon som kun gir deg Word, Excel og PowerPoint.

Approval process

  • Applications for the purchase of IT equipment covered by NITO are made on the attached form for .
  • Form: Application for remuneration for IT equipment for the department board.
  • NITO by the IT section approves and returns the agreement for signing
  • Equipment is purchased and a completed reimbursement form with signed agreement and copy of receipt is sent in Unit4 (the branch office certifies).

Important: Make sure that the purchase documents that form the basis for your refund are in your name.
