Intro 2 - Program and times
You will soon be attending NITO Intro 2 - we look forward to seeing you! Here you will find more information about the program and what you will learn these days.
We start the academic program at 10.30 on the first day. Before that, there is light refreshment, coffee and the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the soft ice cream machine, so feel free to arrive well in advance.

Day 1:
10.00: Arrival, coffee, light refreshments
10.30 am: Start-up academic programme
12.00: Lunch
Approx. 17.15: End of academic program
18.30: Joint departure from the hotel for social program and dinner elsewhere

Maxitaxis are set up to the airport for those who need it. The earliest possible flight is at 16.45.
These are the topics we will cover on the different days
The first day we spend some time on expectations and getting to know each other. During the day, we touch on these topics:
- The company group
- Inquiries from management - how do we handle it?
- The Norwegian model
- Co-determination
On day two , we continue to share experiences on how we can best provide assistance to members before we turn our focus to salaries around lunch. Salary policy, strategy and how we prepare for salary negotiations are topics for the rest of the day.
On the last day , we have full focus on salary negotiations. How do you do it in practice, what is wise, how to distribute roles, tactics and when should you consider breaking off the negotiations. Finally, we gather threads, look at what we have learned and what is the way forward.
Legislation and agreements are a common thread. How can you use different provisions as a toolbox in the situations you come up in.

Learn from each other
Throughout the course, you will work on specific cases together with others. We are convinced that you learn the most from sharing experiences with each other and figuring things out together.
Be present
Intro 2 is a course that is both intensive and fun, so it is important that you are present throughout the course. Getting to know other union representatives is an important part of this, so we book accommodation and dinner for all participants.
Food
No one should go hungry on NITO courses. All meals are ordered and covered by NITO. There will be break food and good access to coffee, soft ice cream, fruit and popcorn. If you need special diets, send us an e-mail.
Social program in the evening
After a day of courses, it is nice to get out of the hotel in the evening. The first evening we will have a nice social program where we are outside part of the time. The food is served inside a heated lavvu, so dress to be both outside and inside.
Courses outside the Oslo area may have a different social program.
