Når er de lokale forhandlingene?
Lokale forhandlinger skjer til litt ulike tider i de ulike virksomhetene. De fleste forhandler på forsommeren eller tidlig høst. Ta kontakt med din tillitsvalgt for å høre når de har avtalt lokale forhandlinger der du jobber.
Wage settlement in the private sector
In the private sector, the actual wage negotiations take place locally in the individual company. For most people, local negotiations take place before 15 September, many even before the summer.
The collective agreements are negotiated centrally. This year, NITO will negotiate both the main agreements and the collective agreements with NHO and Virke.
- 13 - 14 January: Negotiations with NHO on the main agreement.
- January/February: Negotiations with Virke on the main agreement.
- September/October: Negotiation with NHO on the collective agreement.
- 4th quarter: Negotiations with Virke on the collective agreement.
Wage settlement in the public sector
The wage settlement in 2026 is a main settlement. This means that the parties negotiate both finances and the rest of the rights in the collective agreements.
The state
In the central negotiations, they are negotiating how much money should be set aside for a salary increase this year. We call this the financial framework. The money is then distributed in local negotiations, so it is only when they are finished that you know your wage growth this year.
- 16 April: The central negotiations begin.
- 30 April at 24.00: Deadline for the central negotiations.
- 7 May: Mediation starts if the parties do not agree in the negotiations.
- 28 May at 24.00: Deadline for agreeing on a possible mediation.
- Autumn: Local negotiations in the individual government agencies and enterprises.
Municipality/KS
Most of NITO's members who work in municipalities and county authorities have their salaries determined in local negotiations. But first, the central parties negotiate how large a pay increase should be given to those who work in teaching positions and set a deadline for local negotiations.
- 10 April: The central negotiations begin.
- 30 April at 24.00: Deadline for the central negotiations.
- 7 May: Mediation starts if the parties do not agree in the negotiations.
- 28 May at 24.00: Deadline for agreeing on a possible mediation.
- Autumn: Local negotiations in the individual municipalities and county authorities.
City of Oslo
- Mid-April: The central negotiations begin
- 30 April at 24.00: Deadline for the central negotiations
- 7 May: Mediation starts if the parties do not agree in the negotiations.
- 28 May at 24.00: Deadline for agreeing on a possible mediation.
- Autumn: Local negotiations if money is set aside for this in the central negotiations
Spectrum
- 15 April: Negotiations between SAN and Spektrum on Part A of the collective agreement.
- Throughout the spring: Local negotiations in each company. The deadlines for when they must be completed are set in the local negotiations.
Samfunnsbedriftene
NITO has two different collective agreements with Samfunnsbedriftene - the company agreement and the energy agreement II. 2026 is a main settlement, so both of these agreements will be renegotiated. It is done centrally.
- Corporate Agreement: 2 and 3 June
- Energy agreement: 16 and 17 June
The financial framework for this year's settlement and its distribution will be negotiated in local negotiations.
