Certification courses for experts (arbitrators) and co-mediators meet a highly sought-after need for certification of the expert and are the first and only to confer the status of "certified expert and co-mediator".
The use of an expert (arbitrator) is regulated in many of the standard contracts in building and construction. Experts play a key role in dispute resolution between the parties. There is an increased focus and demand for skilled experts. In new standards and in the revision of existing standards, the expert plays an important role. The trade associations NITO, TEKNA and the Norwegian Mediation Association, together with the Norwegian Mediation Centre, are therefore establishing a common professional framework for the experts with courses and associated certification.
