Lunch lecture from NITO BFI pre-analysis and PNA on blood cultures in clinical practice

The lecture will provide insight into how blood cultures are used in different diagnoses. Both before and after starting antibiotic treatment. For example, in bone and joint infections, staphylococcal sepsis and neutropenic fever.

Why do we, sometimes, have to take blood culture every day after antibiotic treatment has started?

Practical information

The course takes place on Teams and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Recordings will be made and sent to registered participants afterwards.

The course is organized by NITO BFI pre-analysis and PNA.
