Leadership is easier if you know the framework for what you have the right to decide, but also what is wise in the individual case if something is difficult. On NITO's course, you will learn how to address and solve challenging situations with employees in a good, practical and effective way within the applicable legal framework.
Course content
The course is basically a two-day course, but you can choose to attend only one of the days based on where you need to increase your knowledge. Both days focus on how to handle complex situations with employees from both a legal and human perspective. Both the duty of management and the duty of care are important factors.

Day 1 deals with what a necessary conversation is and why it is so important. The focus is on employees who do not perform and function as expected in everyday work.

Day 2 deals with sick leave specifically, and how you as a manager should handle both frequent and long-term sick leave.

Practical course
The course is designed as a combination of lectures, dialogue with the participants and practical exercises.

The course instructors use classic examples of employees who do not deliver, illness that affects deliveries at work, or suspicion of substance abuse or other problems of a private nature.

The course is held by two very competent course instructors who focus on what is allowed and what is wise from their two different perspectives. Both are experienced course instructors and give lectures in their respective fields.
