Managing a team without formal personnel responsibilities requires specific skills and strategies. This two-day course provides participants with concrete, practical tools to become more confident and aware in their leadership role.

Course content
The course combines theory with practical exercises and discussions, where you will have the opportunity to reflect on your own leadership challenges and share experiences.
Before the course, you will have the opportunity to answer questions about your specific leadership challenges. You are also encouraged to set specific goals and receive guidance in methodology that will help you establish new habits and achieve your goals.
Through the course, you will get updated research, established facts and relevant examples adapted to your and the other participants' situation. You will also learn practical tools and techniques that you can use immediately in your everyday work.

The leadership role without personnel responsibility: Explore how to exercise effective leadership and influence in a leadership role without formal authority. Learn what characterizes a good team leader and how you can be a confident leader in different situations.

Communication skills: Learn to communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and non-verbally (incl. body language, gaze and mimicry). Get tools to communicate effectively, as well as how to give and receive constructive feedback in different contexts.

Uphill communication: Be better equipped to handle difficult conversations, conflicting interests, and conflicting priorities. Learn to uncover emerging conflicts in time, and gain insight into ethical communication principles that create a positive and productive work environment.

Building effective teams: Gain insight into how to create a strong and close-knit team through clear goal setting, good role and expectation clarification, and how to promote unity and team spirit.

Motivation and self-management: Understand what drives you and your team, and how you can inspire others to take ownership of the tasks. Learn how to build a feedback culture and how to maintain motivation in both ups and downs.
