About the course
The course will give you an insight into pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics, current laboratory methods, measurement uncertainty and clinical indication/utility in both drug and drug analyses. In this course, the focus will also be on the ethical perspective within the field of pharmacology. A laboratory visit to the Department of Pharmacology at St. Olav's Hospital is arranged as an optional part of the course.

Note: The program is only preliminary, and there may be minor changes. The course provides 10.5 counting hours in specialist approval for biomedical laboratory scientists.
Cancellation policy for courses
If you cancel one of our professional courses or conferences, you must pay a fee of 20 percent of the price.
To cancel a course, contact the course coordinator/course coordinator who will help you in the process.
Practical information
- Registration and product exhibition from Monday 22 September at 9:00, program start at 10:00
- The event ends on Tuesday 23 September at 15:00.
- It is possible to sign up on single days
- Laboratory visits will be carried out on 22 September at 16:00-17:00
- Separate registration for dinner and laboratory visits
Prices for the course
- NITO BFI members: 4300,-
- NITO members: 6000,-
- Others: 8500,-
The prices include lunch and break refreshments both days, as well as access to coffee/tea and water. A VAT surcharge of 25 percent is invoiced on the serving of food and beverages.
Midday
You are invited to a joint dinner on Monday evening in the hotel's restaurant at your own expense, NOK. NOK 730 excl. VAT. See registration form.
Hotel accommodation

Poster on the course
NITO BFI Medical Biochemistry encourages you to participate with posters on the course. Remember that it is possible to apply to BFI's study fund for support to travel to courses with posters. The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday 22 August to . Participation with posters requires registration and participation in the course.
