The lecture addresses how we can create psychological safety and trust in everyday life at work – regardless of role or position.
In the workplace, trust does not arise by itself. It is built in small moments: in how we listen, give feedback, deal with disagreement and meet each other when things are difficult.
When trust is lacking, stress, sick leave and misunderstandings increase. When it is present, we get safer employees, better collaboration and room for both performance and vulnerability. Based on psychology, work experience and recognizable examples, participants are given concrete tools to build a culture where it is safe to speak up, ask questions and be themselves.
The lecture provides:
- Simple steps that strengthen trust in teams and between managers and employees
- Insight into how communication can contribute to security – or insecurity
- Increased understanding of the connection between trust, mental health and job satisfaction
