This excursion combines speed and excitement, culture and history, dining experiences and nature experiences – all in one evening. The event is suitable for both those who are familiar with the region, and for those who want to experience Helligvær for the first time.
Meet at the Hurtigruten quay at 17:45 to get the necessary equipment and distribute everyone in the boats.
First there will be a trip from Bodø via Fenes on Landegode to Vokkøy. The trip offers magnificent nature, local history and exciting traffic in the archipelago.
On Vokkøy, there will first be a guided walk with stories about the island, the landscape and life on Vokkøy. Then there will be some food and drink. Fish soup will be served with drinks, some coffee and local pastries. At the same time as you eat, some exciting stories about Vokkøy will be told.
On the return trip, there will be a round trip through Helligvær before heading back to Bodø. We bet on good weather, so that the trip is done in the midnight sun.
NB! The trip is on Wednesday 10 June, but in case of bad weather, it will be postponed to Tuesday 16 June. Feel free to save both days, if you want to join the trip.
Practical information
- A deductible of NOK 500 will be invoiced each two days in advance of the trip
- If you do not notify us of your due date in advance of the trip, you must pay the full deductible
- Meet up at 17.45 at the Hurtigruten quay
- You will be given a thermal suit and life jacket. Good shoes that can withstand a little water, warm clothes, hats and mittens are recommended.
- Fish soup will be served with oneunit of drinks included. In addition, there will be coffee and local pastries for dessert.
- If you have back problems or are pregnant, it is not recommended to ride a rib
- Back in Bodø around midnight
