This is NITO's new Executive Board

- I am pleased to receive the confidence of NITO's congress and look forward to developing the organization further, says newly elected president of NITO, Kjetil Lein.

On 24 November, the NITO Congress elected a new Executive Board, President and Vice President for the next term, consisting of 13 people, including the President and Vice President.

The Executive Board was expanded from 11 to 13, when the congress in 2024 decided that the student leader and employee representative are full members of the Executive Board with voting rights. In the past, they were only observers. The new Executive Board has been elected for the period 2024-2027.

"I have great respect for NITO's long-standing commitment to safeguarding the rights of engineers and technologists, and see it as an honour to be able to build on this strong tradition," says Lein.

"I want to help NITO continue to be a clear voice in the public debate, a champion of a fair and safe working life, and an important player in the development of tomorrow's technological solutions.
