Department of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (NITO BFI)

We are passionate about the interests of biomedical laboratory scientists! BFI represents 8200 biomedical laboratory technicians across the country. We are the voice of biomedical laboratory scientists in health policy, and work with recruitment, education and professional development.

Department of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences – an independent academic unit in NITO

The department looks after the professional interests of the biomedical laboratory scientists, and has 5900 working members and over 2300 student and pensioner members. Health and education policy are key areas of work in NITO BFI's activities. The department owns and publishes the scientific journal Bioingeniøren.
